This struck me on the train today. Come wednesday, it may be the last time i step into Pioneer Junior College with my friends, classmates and school mates. come wednesday , we will come face to face with one of the many milstones in life. we will come into a cross road with a sign that says "End of Pjc Highway". there and then we will have to seperate. as much as we would like to delude ourself into believing that we would remain as one and maintain close ties, the truth remains as such: the release of the a'level results will officiate the end of the wonderful times we shared and the many moments we spent together.
we will no longer be able to play a fool during flag raising ceremony - to witness the very glorious act of astro violating the guys. or the small little chitchat we shared with each other thruout assembly. or throw each other that silly smile or knowing look that only happens when we share a moment of connection without having to even speak. for example- mr kwek's 'flag raising' - or when the parade commander 'zhao xia'- or just enjoying the little spectacle of gordon getting his ass groped or his nipples pinched or the two class clowns having their little "love wrestle" . things that brightened up the morning. things that wouldnt mean much if we had seen them as individuals.
sighhh....
or the nonsense we had in classes especially lit and gp. where discussions became friendly personal attacks. the resonating laughter our class never failed to generate. the laughter that made out tummy ache. the amusing happenings that made us laugh at random even when it happened eons ago. the laughter that made us look like lunatics.
the pe lesson which we all participated in ( even mr koh). -- those who were afraid of balls. the screamers. the shouters. the KEITH-ERS. the victory dances. they will be fondly remembered.
personally i will also miss the teachers. mr koh and his various field trips , life lesson and occassional acts of evil ( also known as lord eddie) but hey despite all that we still liked and respected him. miss chua -- the queen of all craziness and piercing sacarsm( also known as the queen of scary) but hey i liked her and thought she was amusing and a great teacher.mdm khoo the queen of cool - her icy coolness/ calmness, her subtle insults ( that included no expression or otherwise inappropriate expressions) her digs at melvin ( which were always the highlight of the lesson), her effective yet amusing analogies .-- she is da bomb man. mr woolhead and his jokes , his desperate attempts to inject life and fun into the lesson.. ( i think we owe him lots man) and his lessons that we all looked forward to or dubbed as "our favourite lesson"
ok gotta start work now will continue later.
