hello there. so yea. this would be the last of me procrastinating again. I HOPE
decided to conclude 2006 like one week after the new year. ahahaha im the ultimate slacker man!
many lessons learnt. many moods and attitudes transformed. i kinda changed. but i havent decided if its for the better or worse. my friends still stayed closed to me ! :P yay! friendships were cemented.yet some friends became nothing but mere acquaintance.travelled quite alot but could have been more enjoyable if i had learnt to let go better. oh well. its been an eventful year and i thoroughly enjoyed the 7 mths holiday! of laugher,gluttony and companionship! so heres a low down on the years events.
January : came back from my 6 week holiday from the us. experienced one of the best times in my life. toured orange county, lA,las vegas, sanfrancisco, san mateo, san jose and had tonnes of fun in hk :p visited many places and swallowed the sights and sounds. had the opportunity to experience the incredible. loved it so much.
febuary: started work earning money and spending more than i earn ahahahaa. received news that we were going to get back the a level results. started freaking out. then decided that i shouldnt freak out cause i worked hard for it. got my expectations up. foolish thing to do.
march: got back my a level results.felt ok. then devastated. went through a rollercoaster of emotions. stopped. had to start planning for the future. felt like an emotional wreck . crazy uni applications. started getting anxiety attacks. went to balikpapan. kampung living.
april: planned surprise birthday party for elaine low. success. ahahaha had fun in the process.
may: got rejected from nus. got a acceptance letter from nie. didnt know what to do. was at a big lost. smu was still holding a place for me. i think at the end of it all i got rejected too. cant remember all is a blur now. seriously didnt know what to do. was constantly in a bad mood and showed it. sorry to those whoe suffered, im much more lovable now.went to tour the whole of europe and then stayed in london for a few days which heightened my desire to study overseas.
june: got accepted into nus after an appeal. yay. my ass. i hate nus. but should be counting my blessings.
july: started making preps for uni.
august: started uni. life was a blur after nothing memorable.
november: had a surprise birthday party thrownfor me. thanks guys! french dining. zouk madness. major car accident. bernice got hurt. the car was totalled. spent the next few days clearing up the mess with elaine low. all before my econs paper. whoa. got a dog! his name is boy.
december : 3 day hols to melbourne watched fireworks from the crown towers on new years eve.
ok that concludes the end of my 2006. seems like its really stupid huh. half the time panicking over stupid things that were out of my control. hahaha thinking back. i felt like a fool. life goes on :P
but what i really enjoyed this year were the little impromptu meet ups we had. the time i spent with all my friends. the times we fed our gluttony and the silly little things we did. ahahah a big thank you to all. esp. elaine est ber amanda fee seok siyan and everyone else thanks :P
next up new year clean up time !
