i had such a frustrating day today. do you have any idea how it feels to keep having to look for modules to bid for only to keep getting outbidded in a matter of minutes. yes to this time and date i still only have like 4 mods.
1. you go to cors and type in the module type you want to bid for.
3. you look through the list and then start researching on those that spark off the tiniest interest.
2. you log onto ivle and then search for the module code.
4.you check the prerequisites, the lecture time slots and examination time slots to make sure they dont clash.
5.you check the modes of assessment and then the kinds of things you will have to deal with.
5a. you find one that finally matches all criteria
6.you log on to cors and go to module management to add the module
7. then u go on to bidding management only to find out that a. you're already outbidded. b. you get outbidded in a matter of time.c. therre are already no place to bid for.
you deal with all that standing up and with slow internet connection for 2 hrs then rush off to lecture and return st after for 2 hrs to deal with the same thing.
and cors keeps dying which is infinitely irritating. i felt so helpless i wanted to cry. and then u come back only to realise that u cant access cors again. how frustrating
and then a miracle happens
they extended the bidding time due to the technical glitches and then things start to looks up.
and then u remind urself that bad days only last 24 hours. and after which you start feeling silly for feeling so much unecessary negative feelings. and as u type this blog post you cant help but smile.
another day another problem but while im given a breather i shall enjoy it.
life just like that. dont stress nat. just focus and do it.
